Once upon a time there were three beautiful sisters, Bijou, Jocelyn and Hadley. Raised in the wild, exquisite landscape of the Pacific Northwest by a winemaker, chef father and a party planning, poetess mother, the girls enjoyed all the finest things in life: delectable food, fine art and travel to exotic locales. As the girls became women they chose different paths: Bijou studied fashion and became a chef like her father, Jocelyn a renowned artist, and Hadley, ever inspired by her surroundings, an environmentalist and world traveler.
Although they lived in three different corners of the country the sisters would always get together for a weekend on the windswept beaches of Oregon or curl up in a yurt in the snowy mountains of Idaho. Their adventure always included finding the perfect restaurant, the chicest boutique, the most charming coffee house and a hidden scenic hiking trail. They would meet artists and cooks and adventurers like themselves and would throw impromptu parties to entertain their new friends. Many nights the merrymakers would find themselves gathered around a rough-hewn table breathing the salty sea or the fresh mountain air, drinking wine from their family vineyard.
The sisters realized that they, ever indebted of course to their bohemian parents, were living a life unique and discriminating, a life that was equally fun and inspiring. Wherever they went they found people hungry for the life they so freely enjoyed; so much of the world had forgotten about life’s little simplicities like charades, skinny-dipping, reading aloud and drinking wine. The sisters decided to bring a piece of their enchanted life to everyone they met, and would meet along the way. And so, they created Zhoo Zhoo.
